I’m interested in Newdale, Manitoba, Canada because both my mother and my grandmother were born there. I have collected many newspaper and other accounts relating to Newdale’s history and people and I have been researching family photographs and memorabilia. This website will let me share what I’ve learned and connect with others who have more information.

I’ve been doing genealogy and family history since at least 1988, researching family mainly in Canada, the United States, Great Britain and Sweden. I do workshops on various genealogical topics, I write, and I edit a genealogical journal, “The British Columbia Genealogist”.

    My grandfather Wellington McGregor was born in Newdale, Man July 11, 1888 Died in Vancouver 1948. His father was John McGregor and mother is Lydia Catherine ( Eadie) both both born in Nova Scotia. Do you have any info about this family.
